Founded in 1949 in Chilumuru, Guntur District, by Kolasani Venkata Subbaiah Chowdary, Sri Rama aimed to bring education to this rural area despite limited transport. Under the leadership of Kolasani Madhusudana Rao (1961-2004), and later his descendants, the institution became renowned across the state for transforming challenging students into excellent performers. Today, under the third-generation leadership of Kolasani Tulasi Vishnu Prasad, Ramana, and Rajasekhar, Sri Rama continues to innovate and succeed, supported by a management team living on-site to foster a close-knit community.
